Annual Apple Market in Kivik Sweden

Kivik is situated in the area if Österlen in the southern most region of Sweden, Skåne. For about a hundred years Kivik and its surroundings has been the centre of fruit production in Sweden.
The coast of Österlen is dotted with fishing villages and summer houses scattered amongst the apple orchards. The apple is the centre of attention in this area and people come at spring time to see the trees in beautiful blossom and in September to celebrate the end of the apple season
